East Jakarta Mayor, Bambang Musyawardana instructs urban village and sub-district heads to remove permanent water channel's cover in each areas.

"I also ask regional heads to make inundation location report," he mentioned at coordination meeting at Mayor Office, Wednesday (12/20).

According to him, channel cover needs to be removed to anticipate inundation and flood. This will be also help PPSU personnel to clean the channel.

"Urban village and sub-district are enough to dismantle the permanent closed water channel. Don't wait instruction from city level," he expressed.
