Anies Gives Briefing to BUMD Directors

Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan, briefed the directors of Regional-Owned Enterprises (BUMD) in an event titled "BUMD Leaders Meeting, at City Hall, Jalan Medan Merdeka Selatan, Gambir, Central Jakarta, Thursday (12/21).

In that occasion, he wanted those directors to be more innovate to increase company revenue. Therefore, the BUMD should have the right strategic mission in accordance with the performance measures.

"That means, the company's strategic mission can be done well if the resulting performance is appropriate and comparable to its application," he stated, Thursday (12/21).

According to him, BUMD companies were also required to strengthen collaboration. In addition, there should be good and right asset management and inventory in every BUMD.

"The use of assets must be optimized, I want the BUMDs can be an example for other cities in Indonesia," he said.

In addition to business-oriented, BUMD also has a public service function. Strategic steps need to be prepared thus the BUMD performance can be better next year.

"Despite the BUMD has a dual mission, I want both can run well," he said.
