The effort of East Jakarta Bina Marga Sub-dept. to fix road access and sidewalks in East Jakarta has produced significant results. Evidently, at the end of this year, the Regional Working Unit (SKPD) managed to absorb the budget up to 83.92 percent.

The budget is intended for repairing and upgrading the road as wide as 42,000 square meters, the sidewalk as wide as 35,500 square meters and the neighborhood road as wide as 830,000 square meters.
"Including layer hotmix work as wide as 900 square meters," he told.
According to him, arrangement of the road and sidewalk is carried out in 10 sub-districts. The roads that will be repaired are Jalan Tanah Manisan, Jalan Cipinang Cempedak, Jalan Cendana, Jalan Intirup, Jalan Seruling, Jalan Bambu Mas Utara, Jalan Pulo Asem Utara, Jalan Sunan Muria and Jalan Porselen.
While for the sidewalks that will be repaired are located on Jalan Dr. Sumarno, Jalan Dewi Sartika, Jalan Ahmad Dahlan, Jalan I Gusti Ngurah Rai, Jalan Jatiwaringin Raya, Jalan Pusdiklat Cibubur and Jalan Gedong.
Regarding this matter, East Jakarta Mayor, Bambang Musyawardana appreciated the achievement of East Jakarta Bina Marga Sub-dept. that managed to absorb the budget of 83.92 percent up to the end of this year.
"I really appreciate their performance and it should be an example for other SKPDs," he told.
He believes, with budget absorbed, the development programs can equitably be distributed and enjoyed by the residents. Moreover, it has a very close relationship with the wheels of the economy in the region.
"The road will become smooth and convenient, including neighborhood road. Moreover the sidewalks are now already neat and friendly for pedestrians," he stated.
