City Reviews Private's Plan to Be Involved in LRT Construction

Jakarta Provincial Government will review private side's plan to invest for Light Rail Transit (LRT) project.

Apparently, they have analyzed it more than two years by using international consultant assistance

Through investment, LRT project cost will be covered fully by private side, without using any budget from government.

Jakarta Vice Governor, Sandiaga Uno informed, his side has met an investor who want to cover LRT construction. That investor have even made analysis about this mass transportation project construction.

Sandi Wants LRT Soft Opening to Be Accelerated

"Apparently, they have analyzed it more than two years by using international consultant assistance," he conveyed, City Hall, Monday (1/8).

He is very grateful to know that private side wants to contribute in City development, especially in transportation sector. In other words, there is involvement from business sector in solving Jakarta's traffic congestion.

He added, his side has also coordinated with BUMN Minister, Rini Soemarno, related to this plan.

"Minister says we must analyze this case continuously. If possible, we must support and accelerate it," he mentioned.
