Monas Technical Management Unit (UPT) will open night tour early on Wednesday (1/31) for visitors who want to watch lunar eclipse phenomenon. This event is only opened for 500 visitors who want to watch this rare phenomenon from top of Monas.
It is limited to only 500 visitors at the top of Monas due to limited capacity. Ticket counter is open from 5.30 PM
"It is limited to only 500 visitors at the top of Monas due to limited capacity. Ticket counter is open from 5.30 PM (normally 6.30 PM)," informed Munjirin Rasyid, Monas UPT Head, Monday (1/29).
He mentioned, his side will not provide special tools such as telescope for this event. But visitors can enjoy lunar eclipse from different way. "We offer lunar eclipse collage view," he added.
TIM UP PKJ Invites to Watch Supermoon on January 31For visitors who can't enjoy it from top of Monas, he will make sure visitors can still enjoy the phenomenon from Monas goblet-shaped platform and Monas east park. Management unit will turn off the high light poles thus lunar eclipse can be seen more clearly.
"Tour train will be operated more towards the eastern side of Monas because lunar eclipse is predicted will be more clearer in eastern side," he stated.
Monas entry ticket until top of Monas is Rp 20 thousand for adult and Rp 10 thousand for a child. While for visitor who wants to go to goblet-shaped platform is only need to pay Rp 7,500 for adult and Rp 3,500 for a child.
