In commemorating Cap Go Meh, carnival and parade will be held in Glodok, West Jakarta on March 3-4, 2018.

West Jakarta Tourism and Culture Sub-dept. Head, Linda Enriany said, culture carnival is the collaboration between Indonesia and Tionghoa cultures.
West Jakarta will Kick Off Cap Go Meh on March 3-4"Cap Go Meh becomes one of West Jakarta featured tourism events to attract local and foreign tourists," she stated, Thursday (3/1).
Cap Go meh Committee Head, Tjia Boen Kiat explained, the peak event will be enlivened with five kilometers parade. This event will be participated by hundreds people from monasteries in Indonesia.
Glodok Urban Village Head, Lukman Wahid added, three pedestrian bridges; Glodok, Olimo, and Paragon; will be sterilized from crowd who want to see Cap Go Meh parade.
"In accordance to our meeting, those three pedestrian bridges will be closed to anticipate any unwanted things," he informed.
