Two MRT Trains Shipped From Japan

Two Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) trains have been sent from Japan to Jakarta by sea, Wednesday (3/7). Each train contains of six train cars.
Now it is already in Tokyo Port and ready to depart today towards Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta
PT. MRT Jakarta Corporate Secretary, Tugabus Hikmatullah said, it is shipped using Ellensborg ship that has a danish flag. Previously this ship has departed from Toyohashi Port to Tokyo Port.
"Now it is already in Tokyo Port and ready to depart today towards Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta. If the weather is good, it will arrive in Jakarta on March 23, 2018," he said, Wednesday (3/7).
MRT Construction Reaches 91,86 PercentHe explained, this shipping is a part of total 16 trains ordered. Those trains have been tested, from its speed that reaches 14-20 kilometers per hour, to its resistance to low temperature in Japan that could reach 5-9 Celsius degree.
"At first, three trains are planned to be shipped, but one train haven't run the test so it is not ready to be shopped. Other trains are still being produced," he added.
