Deputy Gov.-Propertindo Discuss Electricity Needs in Seribu Islands

Jakarta Deputy Governor, Sandiaga Uno and City-owned Construction Company Jakarta Propertindo, discussed the need for electricity in Seribu Islands. 

Seeing that, we will install electricity using on grid from the sea cable

PT Propertindo President Director, Chairul Hakim disclosed Seribu Islands is one of Jakarta's flagship programs, especially in the field of tourism. There are several island resorts and residents who have no electricity. So far they use generator.

"Seeing that, we will install electricity using on grid from the sea cable," he expressed, Thursday (3/15).

Jakarta Deputy Governor, Sandiaga Uno suggested the development can use dual track system, which is by optimizing the sea cable and independent system, which is by using renewable energy. 

"From both systems, this is hoped to be done collaboratively and quickly in order to immediately be felt by the people of Seribu Islands," he stated.
