Electricity Voltage in Seribu Islands Enhanced

Seribu Islands Industry and Energy Sub-Department, this morning pulled out wires of Low Voltage Network (JTR) for maintenance lanes in Pramuka Island and Kelapa Island. It is purposed to enhance the quality and fulfill the electricity needs of residents.

"The wires pulling aims to anticipate the low voltage as the resident needs for supporting tourism in Seribu Islands," said Head of Seribu Islands Industry and Energy Sub-Department, Meilinda Sagala, Friday (11/13).

Physical Activity in Seribu Islands Expected to Boost Budget Absorption

She told that the pulling was conducted based on the analysis of beginning load, thus decided the voltage needs to be re-split due to consumer additional factor.

"West distribution substation in Kelapa Island and Pramuka Island will be re-split. As the more development of home stay or lodging," Meilinda explained.

According to her the voltage in those two islands particularly during the crowded tourists was caused by overloaded. Thus, the network needs to be re-split by adding new lanes.
