776 Joint Personnel Clean Up KBT Area

776 joint personnel held mass communal work at East Flood Canal (KBT), Duren Sawit, East Jakarta, Sunday (4/15).

It is done for around 1.5 kilometers, start from Malakasari floodgate to bridge in front of Duren Sawit RSUD

This was run for commemoration of Satpol PP's 68th anniversary and Linmas' 56th anniversary.

Supervision Level in KBT Area Tightened from Littering

In this event, those personnel cleaned up all waste and grass along KBT sides and Jalan Inspeksi KBT. It reached around 1.5 kilometers, started from Malakasari floodgate to bridge located in front of Duren Sawit RSUD.

East Jakarta Satpol PP Head, Hartono Abdullah said, communal work was run along KBT due to full of grass and leaf litter especially in canal cliff and Jalan Inspeksi.

"There are 776 people participated in this mass communal work. It is done for around 1.5 kilometers, start from Malakasari floodgate to bridge in front of Duren Sawit RSUD," he informed.

Environment Sub-dept., Forestry Sub-dept., and Satpol PP deployed 16 garbage trucks for this communal work.

Meanwhile, Duren Sawit Sub-district's Environment Unit Head, Suprihartini added, all waste, including grass litter will be dumped to Bantar Gebang TPST, Bekasi, West Java.

"But only leaf litter will be collected for compost. Composting is run at Duren Sawit Sub-district's LH Unit office," he conveyed.
