Jakarta Deputy Governor, Sandiaga Uno is optimistic that the Light Rail Transit (LRT) Phase I (Kelapa Gading-Velodrome) can be operated in the forthcoming July.

Sandi believes the city-owned PT Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro) and its partners can complete it on time.

"It must be operated prior to Asian Games XVIII, it's approximately in July," he expressed, at City Hall, Monday (4/16).

In its development, this project is very important to keep paying attention and give priority to work safety. In addition, standard operating procedures (SOP) must be obeyed.

"Safety is first, it's always been their guideline. Lest any accident during work," he stated.
