Tens of households living on Jalan Setia Kawan, RT 07 and 08/RW 12, Duri Pulo Urban Village, Gambir, Central Jakarta have lost their homes after being hit by fire on Thursday (5/24) early morning. Tent refuge was set up to house the victims.

Gambir Sub-district Head, Fauzi noted fire has destroyed about 31 homes last night. Temporarily, the number of victims that have been recorded is 25 households with 191 people.

Syaiful Khafi, Picket Officer of Central Jakarta Fire and Rescue Sub-dept. said temporary allegation it is due to electricity short-circuit from a home. The firefighters could manage the situation at 2 AM.
