Council Supports City to Develop Sharia Economy

City Council supports Jakarta Provincial Government plan to develop sharia economy in Jakarta.

Since it is done to develop economy in Jakarta, thus if it is compatible to be realized in Jakarta then why not

City Council Commission B Member, Syarifuddin said, sharia economy gives positive impacts from making job opportunities, suppress inequality, and reduce poverty levels. Thus he considered, sharia economy should be socialized to public.

Shariah Economy Must Continue to Evolve in Jakarta

"Since it is done to develop economy in Jakarta, thus if it is compatible to be realized in Jakarta then why not. Thus its socialization should be intensified until the lower level society," he stated, Monday (6/4).

Similar thing is also conveyed by another Commission B member, Subandi. He reminds that sharia economy should be supported by obvious rules to protect the rights of lower and middle societies.

"It is good if shari a economy can be turned on. But it needs obvious rules and its agreement should be mutually understood," he conveyed.
