Tol JORR W2 Kebon Jeruk-Ulujami Resmi Dioperasikan

Kebon Jeruk-Ulujami JORR W2 Officially Operated

The Ciledug-Ulujami segment has an important role to connect the entire outer ring road

After passing through various problems, the operational of the toll road of Kebon Jeruk-Ulujami Jakarta Outer Ring Road West (JORR W2) as long as 2.14 kilometers is finally inaugurated. The toll road was built to parse traffic congestion on inner-city toll road.

Although the toll road already operated several months ago, yet it cannot already be connected to other outer ring roads due to land acquisition problem.

JORR W2 Toll to Start Operating in July

"The Ciledug-Ulujami segment has an important role to connect the entire outer ring road," said Minister of Public Works, Djoko Kirmanto while inaugurating JORR W2 toll road, Monday (7/21).

According to him, such construction has completed Jakarta outer ring road networks from Rorotan on the east side until Penjaringan. Through the toll, the motorist could go to Soekarno-Hatta Airport without passing on inner-city toll road. "We believe the toll will be able to provide a sizeable contribution in minimizing congestion, about 30 percent on the inner-city. This toll is also connected with Jakarta-Cikampek, Jagorawi, Jakarta-Tangerang, and Soedyatmo toll roads," he explained.

The total length of Kebun Jeruk-Ulujami JORR W2 is about 7.87 kilometers. Its construction has spent Rp 2.2 trillion, where 70 percent out of them are obtained from DKI and Mandiri Banks. "We set toll tariff at Rp 8,500," he told.

Thereby, the current operating toll road has a length of 53.24 kilometers. It consists of JORR S Section (14.25 kilometers), South W2 phase I and II (5.72 kilometers), South E1 (4.48 kilometers), North E1 3rd and 4th Section (8.1 kilometers), E2 (9.07 kilometers), E3 (3.75 kilometers), and Ulujami Kebun Jeruk W2 (7.87 kilometers).
