Jakarta is Chosen as Finalist in We Love Cities 2018 Event

Jakarta Environment Dept. Head, Isnawa Adji said, Jakarta has been chosen as a finalist in We Love Cities 2018 event from other 50 cities that participated in One Planet City Challenge (OPCC) event held by World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF).

This event is related to city commitment in providing transparent city reporting and to act towards climate change.
"Through 'We Love Cities' campaign, we want to invite citizen to show their love for their cities by voting and giving suggestions for better city development," he mentioned, Thursday (6/28).
Citizens Urged to Report Any Cases of Environmental PollutionHe explained, this campaign is also done to persuade people to participate in sustainable city development by supporting action to face climate change challenges.
In order to become a winner in this competition, Jakarta must compete with 117 cities from 23 countries that also participated in this event. The winner will get certificate and acknowledgement in Global Awards Ceremony.
