185 Personnel Prepared to Smoothen Odd-Even Extensions Trial

185 personnel of Jakarta Transportation Dept. are alerted to smoothen odd-even extensions trial for Asian Games 2018. It is started on Monday (7/2) up to July 31, 2018.

Personnel will be divided into two shifts, starting from 6 AM-2 PM and 2-9 PM

According to Andri Yansyah, Head of Jakarta Transportation Dept., those personnel are to monitor 41 intersections that have been set for 15 hours ahead.

Prior to socialization, his dept. has installed banners about odd-even extensions trial in some roads such as Jalan DI Panjaitan, East Jakarta.

"Personnel will be divided into two shifts, starting from 6 AM-2 PM and 2-9 PM," he expressed, Monday (7/2).

For roads that already have odd-even system are like Jalan Medan Merdeka Barat, Jalan MH. Thamrin, Jalan Jenderal Sudirman, Jalan Sisingamangaraja, Jalan Jenderal Gatot Subroto (Kuningan intersection - Slipi intersection), Jalan Jenderal S Parman (Slipi intersection - Tomang intersection). 

"Further, there are Jalan MT Haryono (UKI intersection - Pancoran intersection - Kuningan intersection), Jalan HR Rasuna Said, Jalan Jenderal DI Panjaitan (Pemuda intersection - Kalimalang intersection- UKI intersection)," he expressed.

Additionally, the system will also be applied at Jalan Jenderal Ahmad Yani (Perintis intersection - Pemuda intersection), Jalan Benyamin Sueb (Benyamin Sueb intersection - Kupingan Ancol).

There are also at Jalan Metro Pondok Indah (Kartini intersection - Metro Pondok Indah roundabout - Pondok Indah intersection - Bungur intersection - Gandaria City intersection - Kebayoran Lama intersection), as well as Jalan RA Kartini.

 

Every rider who passes those roads is urged to use Transjakarta bus.

"Our personnel will give a reprimand to the vehicles that break the rules, as this is socialization," he said.
