E. Jakarta Assigns 192 Joint Personnel to Inspect Sacrificial Animal's Meat

192 joint personnel deployed to inspect sacrificial animal's meat in East Jakarta this Wednesday (8/22). There are 548 slaughterhouses in 10 sub-districts.

"We deploy 192 joint personnel to inspect sacrificial animal's meat. Until now, we don't know the exact number of slaughtered animals in these 548 slaughterhouses. We still need to collect more data while inspecting the meat," stated East Jakarta Maritime Agriculture and Food Tenacity (KPKP) Sub-dept.'s Animal Husbandry and Animal Health Section Head, Irma Budiany, Wednesday (8/22).

196 Joint Personnel will Inspect Sacrificial Animal Slaughtering in S. Jakarta

Joint personnel consist of 72 personnel from Bogor Agricultural University (IPB), 70 personnel from East Jakarta KPKP Sub-dept., 15 personnel from Indonesian Veterinary Association (PDHI), 10 personnel from Agriculture Ministry, and 25 personnel from Jakarta KPKP Dept.

In meat inspection, his side wants to provide safety and comfort for people. Personnel are reminded to focus in inspecting sacrificial animal's meat, such as liver, heart, and kidney parts. Her side will destroy any meat part which is contaminated with disease.
