Suryandoro, Manager of TMII's Culture and Tourist Information Center, said visitors are very enthusiastic to visit and enjoy the rides and existing platforms, especially snowBay, keong mas imax theater and train cable.
On the 1st day of Eid ul Fitr, the number of visitors was 25 thousand people. "While 2nd day of Eid ul Fitr, the number of visitor is reaching 25 thousand until 11 AM, and we predict it would increase 50 thousand people," he told, Monday (7/29).
TMII Performs Bali Night Sutasoma PlayAccording to him, such number has increased 10 percent than Eid ul Fitr last year. "Its increase reaches 10 percent. Last year, the visitors in TMII were 35 thousand, while this year has reached 50 thousand," he expressed.
He continued that his side predicts visitors would reach 75 thousand until Sunday. He also set up health, security, and information posts to provide safety and comfort to visitors.
"The health post located at the health clinic with eight medics including doctors and 400 security officers consisting of national army, Police and Pam Swakarsa (informal private security forces). So we guarantee TMII is truly safe," he said.
To parse congestion, his side urges visitors to use big buses to go inside. Yet, congestion in every junction is often found due to many vehicles parked on the roadside.
