The 2,483-meter width sidewalk arrangement on Jalan Soemarno, Pulogebang, Cakung, East Jakarta as long as 1.7 kilometers is finally completed by spending Rp 3.5 billion from APBD.

East Jakarta Bina Marga Sub-dept.'s Utility Network and Sidewalk Section Head, Anto Marpaung stated that it has been carried out since July and now has been finished. Sidewalk itself is equipped by 25 units of box ducting for utility networks with a distance of about 25 meters per each.

"With this box ducting, the utility owner can no longer dig the ground on the sidewalk," he stated, Wednesday (9/19).

According to him, the sidewalk that is in the access road to the East Jakarta mayor's office and the Pulogebang Terminal is also equipped by the park and is disability friendly.

Aside that, it is also completed by a safety iron thus c arts or motorbikes are not easily crossed.
