30 personnel of Menteng Sub-district Satpol PP and Transportation Sub-dept., Central Jakarta began arranging street vendors (PKL) along Jalan Agus Salim (Sabang), Kebon Sirih.

"We do this to restore the sidewalk function as before, thus the pedestrians can use it comfortably," expressed Charles Siahaan, Head of Menteng Sub-district Satpol PP, Wednesday (9/26).

According to him, socialization is slated to be done towards 46 street vendors on Thursday (9/27). They would be invited to Kebon Sirih Urban Village to sign a mutual agreement. 

In the meantime, Sabang Traders Paguyuban Chairman, Amir agreed with the arrangement carried out by the local sub-district.

"We're ready to welcome the invitation and will obey the rules for the convenience of pedestrians," he stated.

Based on beritajakarta.id monitoring , those officers have also controlled PKL on the sidewalk of Jalan Sabang. They managed to seize five carts to be brought to the sub-district office.
