251 Animals Vaccinated in W. Jakarta This October

Commemorating World Rabies Day 2018, West Jakarta Maritime Agriculture and Food Tenacity (KPKP) Sub-dept. provides free vaccination for animals that can transmit rabies (HPR). From early October, hundreds of HPRs have been vaccinated.

It consists of 74 dogs, 174 cats, two ferrets and one monkey

"This activity also protects residents from the danger of infectious animal disease that can be transmitted through HPR," mentioned Marsawitri Gumay, West Jakarta KPKP Sub-dept. Head, Thursday (10/4).

This activity will be held until October 5. She informed, 251 HPR have been vaccinated during October 1-3. "It consists of 74 dogs, 174 cats, two ferrets and one monkey," she added.

Central Jakarta Holds Free Pet Vaccination in World Rabies Day

Not only vaccination, her side also targets to install microchip to 100 dogs up to October 5. "We have installed microchip to 29 dogs until October 3. This microchip is installed to know about owner's data and pet's health status," she informed.
