Logistic Aid Continues to Be Sent to Palu and Its Surrounding Areas

The city response team is distributing logistic aid weighing six tons for victims of earthquake and tsunami in Palu and its surrounding areas.
The aid distributed is conducted along with the retired air force association (PPAU), UNESCO, company and individual.
City Response Team Distributes 1,500 Food Packages to PaluCity Response Team Commander, Salam Ansori stated that logistic distribution is no longer intensified in Palu area.
"It is intensified in rural areas that are difficult to access," he expressed, Thursday (10/18).
Those rural areas are starting from Soulowe Village, Dusun II, Dolo Sub-district, Sigi District, Baliase Village, Marawola Sub-district, Sigi District, and Toposo Labuan Village, Tawaeli Sub-district, Donggala District.
"Logistic aid distributed is ranging from clothes, tents, blankets, milk, biscuits, baby and elderly diapers, to children's toys," he told.
PPAU Logistic Collection Coordinator, Yoga Wardana exprssed that the aid itself has been collected since October 2-14, 2018. Before it is departed to Mutiara Sis Al-Jufri Airport, Palu, on Monday (10/15) afternoon, it was weighed and collected first at Halim Perdana Kusuma Airport, Jakarta.
"At Halim Airport, logistic is transported by two pallets. Each pallet has a weight of 3 tons," he expressed.
Soulowe Village Chairman, Sujono appreciated and thanked for the logistic aid to his village.
"We have received the aid," he told.
Similar appreciation also came out from Labuan Toposo Village Secretary, IIman Gafar. The aid will be distributed to the victims in 200 houses.
"These houses are spread in some villages such as Pado Gimbo, Dalika, Simou, Sisere, and Mavusu," he said.
