MRT Lebak Bulus-HI Roundabout Operational Socialization Intensified

PT MRT Jakarta continues to intensify the socialization of the corridor's operational readiness ahead of the phase I MRT (Lebak Bulus - HI Roundabout) operation.

This socialization is to inform the public about Jakarta MRT train readiness

"This socialization is to inform the public about Jakarta MRT train readiness," expressed Tubagus Hikmatullah, Corporate Secretary of PT MRT Jakarta, Thursday (10/25).

He explained that it is conducted through mass media, social media, and official website of PT MRT Jakarta, Aside that, his side is also cooperating to promote with other BUMD, such as PT Jakrpo and PT Transjakarta.

MRT Stations Designed to Be Safe From Flood

It is also conducted by involving influencers, such as bloggers and vlogers. Technically, the bloggers and vlogers will be invited to visit the Dukuh Atas MRT station and see the operational readiness of the Jakarta MRT Train in November.

Jakarta Tourism and Culture Dept. Acting Head, Asiantoro expressed, with the presence of modern, fast and safe transportation such as the MRT train, it is predicted that it will support the increase of tourists, especially in shopping tours that are passed by Jakarta MRT train route.

"By so, it is estimated that there will be a significant increase in the number of tourists two to five percent," he expressed.

He also hoped that each MRT station to have open space for art, thus MRT train users or visitors who come are more comfortable and interested in using modern transportation. It also provides an opportunity for artists to show up their talents and display their work.

"This is because this year they will hold art performance at Jalan Thamrin-Sudirman, namely arts of FX Senayan and Grand Indonesia, and we will do it at 10 points in the future," he stated.
