Along January-October 2018, it has been noted that 47 points of connecting channels and water channels that spread in six urban village, Palmerah Sub-district, West Jakarta have been drained from mud.

Palmerah Sub-district Water Resources Executing Unit Head, Hindradman stated that it is carried out in a bid to anticipate inundation and flooding in the rainy season.
