West Jakarta Water Agency Unit personnel are prepared in four river locations for 24 hours to clean up garbage which is carried by the streams from Bogor and Tangerang. 

We divide personnel in two work shifts

West Jakarta Water Agency Unit Head, Hariyanto Silalahi said, garbage is mostly carried away to West Flood Canal in front of Season City Mall, Cengkareng Drain, Warung Pojok Kalideres' Bridge, and Polor Kembangan Dam.

"Garbage from Bogor is usually carried away to West Flood Canal while garbage from Tangerang is carried away to Cengkareng Drain, Warung Pojok Kalideres' Bridge, and Polor Kembangan Dam," he conveyed, Monday (11/12).

He explained, 10 personnel are assigned outside working hours to transport garbage on those rivers when the rain falls to prevent it from piling up.

"We divide personnel in two work shifts. First shift starts from 4 PM to 11 PM, and second shift is from 11 PM to 7 AM ," he stated.
