Muhasin PHB Channel's Retaining Wall Repaired

Cilandak SDA Unit, South Jakarta, repairs Muhasin connecting (PHB) channel's retaining wall on Jalan Haji Miran, RT 15/06, Cilandak Barat Urban Village. Its retaining wall is collapsed due to heavy rainfall on Tuesday (12/4).

Currently we install cerucuk from 10 woods with length five meters and height 2.5 meters

Cilandak SDA Unit Head, Sutopo said, his side installs cerucuk to prevent it from collapsing again. According to him, the owner of building built on a land near this channel will make a permanent retaining wall.

"Currently we install cerucuk from 10 woods with length five meters and height 2.5 meters. While new retaining wall will be built by the building owner," he said, Wednesday (12/5).

Cilandak Barat Urban Village Head, Agus Gunawan conveyed, Jainudin just finished building a board house near the channel. No one live in that building when this incident happened.

"Before building this boarding house, formerly it was a bamboo plantation land but the land is not well stocked and since it is near PHB channel, it causes retaining wall to collapse," he explained.

Urban village side deploys 15 PPSU pe rsonnel to assist Cilandak SDA unit to handle this collapsing retaining wall.
