Langkat DPRD Studies Waste Management from East Jakarta

15 members of Langkat Regency DPRD's Commission D, North Sumatera, conducted a comparative study at the East Jakarta Mayor's office, Thursday (12/6). 

We want to learn and look for the right regulations in handling waste. Incidentally everything we are looking for and asking for is met here

Langkat Regency DPRD's Commission D Chairman, Sarikat Bangun expressed, as the population increases, the waste that is managed will be even more numerous and need extra handling.

He uttered that what is gained from this comparative study will be discussed with the executive to be applied in Langkat.

Assistant for East Jakarta Economy and Development, he provides a lot of information about handling waste by involving the people, such as handling patterns using a system of reuse, reduce and recycle and a waste bank

"Our visit aims to learn waste management in East Jakarta," he said.
