94 Cubic Meters of Garbage on Three Islands Transported

Around 94 cubic meters of garbage were successfully transported by from three islands, Seribu Islands.

We use five motorized carts and one ship to transport the garbage

Seribu Islands Regency Environment Sub-dept. Head, Yusen Hadirman expressed that those islands were Tidung Island, Untung Jawa Island, and Kelapa Island.

"We do this through grebek sampah," he expressed, Friday (12/7).

1,199 Tons of Garbage Under Wiyoto Wiyono Toll Cleaned

In details, his side managed to collect cubic meters of garbage from Tidung Island, 50 cubic meters of garbage from Untung Jawa Island, and 20 cubic meters of garbage from Kelapa Island.

"We use five motorized carts and one ship to transport the garbage," he explained.

Most garbage transported is plastic and wooden swept away the water from the mainland.

"For household garbage, it is relatively small and can still be processed," he stated.
