The air conditioner panel (AC) of SMAN 64, Cipayung, East Jakarta caught fire at around 8.45 AM, Monday (12/10).

No fatalities and casualties in the incident. And the loss is around Rp 4 million

Fire and Rescue Section Head, Gatot Sulaeman stated that it was allegedly triggered by electricity short-circuit. The panel was installed on the front wall of the laboratory room on the second floor of the school.

"No fatalities and casualties in the incident. And the loss is around Rp 4 million," he told.

To put out the flames, two fire trucks were immediately deployed to the scene using portable fire extinguisher (APAR) belongs to the school. Fortunately it did not interfere with teaching and learning activities.
