Jakarta Social Dept. is giving a quick response to help the tsunami victims in Banten. Besides evacuation, they are also sending logistic aid.

Jakarta Social Dept. Head, Irmansyah said, on December 23, his dept. sent 100 blankets, 100 collared shirts, 100 sarongs, 100 long fabrics, 100 negligees, 100 towels, 100 toiletries, and 2 traps.

On December 24, around 25 personnel, 4 rescue cars, and 1 goods truck were also sent to the location.
The logistic brought to the location are 25 tarpaulins, 450 kilograms of rice, 30 boxes of instant noodles, 7 boxes of cooking oil, 2 boxes of soy sauce, 10 boxes of sardines, 140 packs of biscuits, and 3 boxes of sanitary napkins.
"We keep coordinating with the local government about logistic distribution," he uttered.
Thus far the public kitchen was set up on Jalan Sumur Raya, RT 01/04, Kertajaya Village, Sumur Sub-district, Padenglang Regency, Banten. There are 22 personnel alerted at the location.
"Every day we're preparing 1,000 packaged rice meals plus its side dishes. We distribute them to the refugee tent and public kitchen," he told.
His team will work hard in providing logistic until seven days ahead and will be extended as needed.
"This is our concern to help them," he stated.
As for the information, the BNPB has noted that as many as 429 people are dead, 1,485 people are injured, 154 people are missing, 16,082 people take a refuge.
