Here is Traffic Engineering Over New Year's Eve

As we know, the capital has prepared various events to welcome the New Year's Eve celebrations tonight. Surely, it would be crowded by people who want to celebrate.

It will be executed gradually by observing field conditions

Therefore, to hinder severe traffic jam, traffic engineering has been applied in a number of roads.

Various Event Ready to Welcome New Year's Eve in Jakarta

It will be applied at around 5 PM-1 AM, starting from Jalan Medan Merdeka Barat - Jalan MH Thamrin and parts of Jalan Jenderal Sudirman (until Dukuh Atas).

Jakarta Transportation Dept. Acting Head, Sigit Wijatmoko stated that the road condition must be sterile.

"It will be executed gradually by observing field conditions," he expressed, Sunday (12/30).

Here is traffic engineering that will be set during New Year's Eve, as follows;

1. Harmoni

- Vehicles heading South, will be rerouted to Jalan Juanda – Lapangan Banteng – Jalan Pejambon – Jalan Ridwan Rais, so forth

2. Semanggi 

- Vehicles heading North, will be rerouted to Jalan Margono Joyohadikusumo – Jalan KH Mas Mansyur or Jalan Galunggung, so forth

3. West - East or vice versa

- Vehicles will be directed to pass through Jalan Suryo Pranoto – Jalan Juanda – Jalan Pos – Jalan Gunung Sahari – etc, or Jalan Tambak – Jalan Sultan Agung – Jalan Galunggung so forth

To optimize it, around 478 officers will be on standby in the field.

"I hope every motorist can obey the traffic rules and the field officer's direction," he hoped.
