1,000 Households of Marunda Flat Obligated to Pay Rental Cost Via Bank

As many as 1,000 households living at Cluster A (10 blocks), Cluster B (10 blocks), and Cluster C (6 blocks), Marunda Flat, North Jakarta, who previously paid rental cost in cash, are now obliged to pay it via DKI Bank account. The payment system will be applied in the upcoming September.

Head of Region I Flat Management Unit, Marhayadi disclosed that such payment policy is conducted gradually. As the initial stage, it would be applied to flat residents at Cluster B. By so, they do not need to pay rental cost through manager anymore. For those who already have a bank account and an ATM card can directly conduct payment via the Cash Management System (CMS) on the ATM menu. While those do not yet have, can use the virtual card issued by the Rental Flats Housing Management Unit (UPRS).

Marhayadi stated the new system is under preparation process. As for the residents at Cluster B, his side will keeps socializing the migration pattern of the payment. "The system will simplify the flat residents. The flat management can also do monitoring easily," he told.

Puji, (33), one of residents at Cluster B Block 3 on 1st floor, admitted she would obey the new payment system, even though does not the impact in future. "I prefer to pay rental cost via bank. Otherwise if it is conducted via bank account or ATM, I worry there will be cuts in administration costs," she finished.
