Let's Explore Boundless Plains Exhibition at Jakarta History Museum

For those of you who want to know about the history of Islam and Muslim communities in Southeast Asia, including Indonesia, please come to a photo exhibition themed "Boundless Plains Exhibition: The Australian Muslim Connection" at Jakarta History Museum, Kota Tua area, West Jakarta. 

It is also a means of promotion and improving the quality of tourist destinations in Jakarta

It has been held since April 13-30, 2019 by portraying 21 photos that tell the full story of the journey and development of Islam in Australia.

Jakarta Tourism and Culture Agency Head, Edy Junaedi stated that it could be programmed in cooperation with Australia Embassy and Islamic Museum of Australia.

"It is also a means of promotion and improving the quality of tourist destinations in Jakarta. We target 10,000 visitors here," he expressed, at Jakarta History Museum, Monday (4/15).

Based on his agency's data, Australian tourists ranked 10th, most visited Jakarta with a total number of tourists reaching almost 87,000 last year.

Australian Ambassador to Indonesia, Gary Quinlan expressed that it provides information about the development of Islam in Australia for more than 200 years.

Then Museum of Australia Executive Officer Chief, Ali Fahour added that it aims to display extraordinary artistic heritage.
