It is enlivened by Betawi culture and art performance, doorprize, traditional game, flyboard attraction, jetsky, banana boat and bazaar.

Thousand Islands Regent, Husein Murad wants the event to become a trigger and a driver to activate activities in Thousand Islands.

"Thousand Islands must be able to be an important part of the new face of Jakarta," he expressed, Saturday (4/27).

It is a joint task by the government, the private sector, and the community to make the Islands more attractive, clean, comfortable and preserved.

He assessed that the local government has initiated movements to involve citizens in developing the Islands.

"We have the Clean Movement, the Movement for Change, the Thousand Breadfruit Movement, the Tourism and Ecotourism Movement, and the Entrepreneurship Movement," he expressed.

Through a collaborative participatory pattern, Thousand Islands will become an increasingly attractive tourist destination and will also be loved by domestic and foreign tourists.

No less important is the fulfillment of basic needs and the well-being of citizens to be the focus of attention.

"Our hope is our islands can be more advanced and can make citizens happy," he hoped.
