South Jakarta LH Sub-department Community Participation and Legal Compliance Section Staff, Enrile Indro Prasetyo explained, used cooking oil will be put in 18 liter jerrycans and sold.

Each RW in North Jakarta Targeted to Have Climate VillageHis side cooperates with Rumah Sedekah Sosial Kutub Foundation to provide barrel to collect the used cooking oil. This barrel will be distributed to climate villages in South Jakarta such as RW 03 Rawajati, RW 06 Pejaten Timur and then government offices.
Rumah Sedekah Sosial Kutub Foundation Executive Director, Suhito mentioned, not many people know that used cooking oil can be processed into fuel to run machines in several factories.
"Instead of being thrown away, it's better if we take the used cooking oil and sell it to biodiesel factory. The money can be used for social program," he mentioned.
Currently his side has provided 300 jerrycans. But
later, he plans to provide 500 jerrycans per month.
