Last night, joint personnel from police, Satpol PP, Social Sub-department (Sudinsos), Transportation Sub-department (Sudinhub), and TNI conducted Pekat Operation in Penjaringan, North Jakarta.

Penjaringan Sub-district Head, Muhammad Andri said, Pekat Operation is held to enforce the Regional Regulation (Perda) No. 8/2027 about Public Order and intensify security during Ramadan Month.

Personnel seized 200 cartons that contain of 2,400 liquor bottles from a warehouse and some shops near the railway in Petak Asem, Jalan Ekor Kuning, Penjaringan Urban Village.
"We have socialized the locals and traders for not selling liquor and violating the public order. But we will keep monitoring some locations to avoid street crimes," he explained.
