Don't Miss to Enjoy Pasar Baru Festival on This Weekend!

This weekend, Central Jakarta Tourism and Culture Sub-department (Sudinparbud) is about to hold Pasar Baru Festival on Jalan Antara, Pasar Baru, Sawah Besar.

It is held on July 13-14 from 10 AM to 9 PM and you can join this event for free

This event is held as a part of Jakarta's 492nd Anniversary celebration. This year, it raises theme 'The Colorful Pasar Baru in Festival'.

"It is held on July 13-14 from 10 AM to 9 PM and you can join this event for free. Don't miss it," informed Central Jakarta Sudinparbud's Attraction and Promotion Section Head, Endang Suryati, Tuesday (7/10).

She conveyed, Pasar Baru Festival is expected to give positive impact for Pasar Baru's existence as a popular place to hang out, shopping and for recreation.

"We want to improve Pasar Baru popularity as one of Jakarta's legendary place for shopping and tourism," she expressed.

This event will be enlivened with tourism bazaar, fashion show, entertainment stage, 1 hour super sale event, painting exhibition, dance performance, modern music group performance, Lenong, and many others.

"Central Jakarta Youth and Sport Sub-department will also join in this event by holding paddling competition," she added.

Her side provides 30 booths in bazaar. It consists of  20 tourism industry booths and 10 booths  to promote products sold by entrepreneurs from each sub-districts in Central Jakarta. 

"Hopefully, Pasar Baru Festival can strengthen relationship between communities, local government, and local residents," she conveyed.
