Based on beritajakarta.com observations, the dredging is done in PHB on Jalan Bisma Raya, Papanggo Urban Village, Tanjung Priok Sub-District, and Terusan Warung Jengkol River in Pegangsaan Dua Urban Village, Kelapagading Sub-District.
The PHB is dredged because it was full of trashes and the water often overflows onto the street when rain pours. The dredging is conducted along one kilometer.

As for the Terusan Warung Jengkol River, the dredging is conducted along one kilometer, and the work has been started since Thursday (8/28). The river is dredged because it is shallowing, from initially 2.5-meter deep to only 1.5-meter deep now.
“We received reports that the river often overflows during heavy rain and inundates the settlements in RW 02 and 09 Pegangsaan. The river is planned to be dredged for one more meter,” he uttered.
According to Atmaja, the dredging of PHB on Jalan Bisma Raya and Terusan Warung Jengkol River is targeted to finish by the end of next month. Besides these two, about 90 other PHB and rivers in North Jakarta will be normalized gradually starting upcoming September.
