The Jakarta Environment Agency conducts sudden inspection (sidak) and law enforcement towards two industries in East Jakarta as they polluted the air beyond the threshold.

Jakarta Environment Agency Head, Andono Warih said that sanction is given to them to fix the performance of chimney emissions control within 45 days.

"The public can also make complaints about alleged environmental pollution by the industry. We will immediately act on it," he stated.
