Kampung Melayu Residents Appreciate Foods Distributed by Dapur Qurban Program

Residents from RW 07 and 08 of Kampung Melayu Urban Village, Jatinegara, East Jakarta appreciates food assistance given by Dapur Qurban program initiated by Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan.

"Alhamdulillah, I can have a chance to eat rendang made by international chef from five-star hotel. Thank you Mr. Governor," expressed Arifin (58), resident of RT 08/08 while eating it happily, Monday (8/12).

He hopes this program can continue each year. Because underprivileged people can have a chance to enjoy eating hotel cuisine.

"This rendang is very tasty and tender," he added.

Kampung Melayu Urban Village Secretary, Rosefin conveyed, there were 300 families from 27 RTs in RW 07 and 08 who received food packages from Dapur Qurban.

"They are categorized as underprivileged residents who live in densely populated areas. We deploy urban village personnel, Satpol PP, PPSU personnel, social assistance personnel, LMK, and RT/RW administrators to help distributing the food," she explained.

Kampung Melayu Urban Village Community Welfare Section Head, Nurmasita added, her side ensures to give this assistance to those in need.

"50 personnel from RT, Jumantik, and PKK cadres also accompany us to distribute Dapur Qurban foods," she mentioned.
