Jakarta Transportation Agency Head, Syafrin Liputo and his rank planned to review the odd-even traffic policy this week before it is officially enforced.

It will be conducted by accommodating all inputs and will be continued with public testing of even-odd extensions.

"As of September 9, we want to impose the odd-even policy officially," he expressed, after he became a speaker in air pollution control talk show through odd-even policy and restrictions on old cars, at Jakarta City Hall, Monday (8/19).

This policy was surely based on Gubernatorial Instruction No. 66/2019 on air quality control. "We will expand it on 25 roads throughout Jakarta. This does not apply to two-wheeled vehicles," he stressed.

As for information, the odd-even traffic policy trialled on 16 roads on August 12 until September 6. During the trial, violators were only given a warning or have not taken action.
