Hot issue about whom candidate for Jakarta Vice Governor was responded casually by Basuki 'Ahok' T Purnama. Its post is currently still a bone of contention of the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDI-P) and the Great Indonesia Movement Party (Gerindra).

After Jokowi was ascertained as Indonesian President, that means Basuki will replace him as the next Jakarta Governor. Unfortunately, the person who will accompany Basuki is still blur and threatened to be delayed until the year 2015. "It doesn't matter if my old post (vice governor) will be filled next year. Just see what the party wants," said Basuki, at City Hall, Tuesday (9/2).

Former Regent of East Belitung argues, he asserted was ready to lead Jakarta city without a vice governor. Moreover, the government system in Jakarta is different than other regions in Indonesia. Where Jakarta Provincial Government has four vice deputies who are senior officials under Jakarta government.

"There are four deputies. Jakarta city is different with other regions, where we have deputies. That's called Capital Special Region," he exclaimed.

Those four deputies are in charge of Trade Industry and Transportation, Control of Population and Residential, Spatial Planning and Environment, as well as Culture and Tourism

Previously, a member of Jakarta Legislative Council (DPRD), Prasetyo Edi Marsudi expressed that DPRD is still preoccupied with the DPRD election and a discussion of the 2015 City Budget (APBD). "Perhaps it takes a long time, thus vice governor will be discussed next year," stated a politician of PDI-P.
