Ahok Learns From Bang Yos And Foke

In the near future, Jakarta Vice Governor Basuki 'Ahok' T Purnama will immediately become the number one in the capital to replace Joko 'Jokowi' Widodo who will become an Indonesian President.

The man who was born in East Belitung admitted he got input from two public figures, Sutiyoso and Fauzi Bowo. 

"I am most pleased to learn something with the seniors. Last week I asked for a special time to Mr. Fauzi Bowo. Nearly two hours, we talked to exchange ideas," expressed Basuki, on the sidelines of Halal Bihalal activity with the Paguyuban Werdatama Jaya at City Hall, Monday (9/1).

He disclosed Fauzi Bowoa advised him to keep developing and advancing the macro-transportation system. During the meeting, they also discussed on the project of Casablanca-Tanah Abang Non-Toll Flyover (JLNT).

"I asked to him, why JLNT Casablanca is like not having function? Apparently, there is an obligation, where a six-inner-city toll roads linking with the cost of developers. It would be something exceptional. Due to slow construction, it becomes mess," he said.

Besides sharing ideas with Fauzi Bowo, a former member of Commission II also gets input from Sutiyoso or popularly as Bang Yos, former Jakarta Governor before Fauzi Bowo.

"The theme is brave and assertive. Bang Yos' principle is simple, I remember constantly that all the bullets were having name Hok. If there is no your name, all shots will miss how many times the shot will hit," stated Basuki, while mimicking the words of Bang Yos.

Not only that, Bang Yos and Fauzi Bowo or called as Foke also gave him advises that a leader must be brave in making decisions, whatever the risk.

"We can't make decisions that please everyone. Bang Yos' p rinciple, is whatever should be decided as long as the advantage is much better than disadvantage. This feedback is important to me, because they (Bang Yos and Foke) are more senior and experience," he finished.
