Six Statues and Monuments in Jakarta Being Conserved

The Cultural Heritage Conservation Center is currently conserving six statues and monuments. It is based on Act No. 11/2015 on Preservation of Cultural Heritage.

Those statues and monuments are Pancasila Sakti Monument, Persahabatan Statue in front of Cut Mutia Mosque, Hermes Statue at Jalan Harmoni, ASEAN Statue at Suropati Park, Mohammad Husni Thamrin Statue and other statues in Tugu Proklamasi Housing Complex such as Proklamator Statue and Petir Monument.
"Surely this is our duty to take care of them," disclosed West Jakarta Tourism and Culture Agency's Cultural Heritage Conservation Center Head, Linda Enriany, Monday (8/26).

To do conservation, six workers and two conservators have been sent to the field. Each conservation process in one location takes 7-15 days.
