Founders of Jakarta Youth Choir Invited to Seminar at New York University

Two founders of Jakarta Youth Choir, Ponirin Ariadi Limbong and Septo Adi Kristianto Simanjuntak were invited to attend in seminars and short courses from a renowned conductor, Harold Rosenbaum at New York University.

The activity that took place from August 19-28 was also participated by various choir activists from United States, Canada, Hong Kong, Turkey and Indonesia.

Won Many Awards, Anies Proud of Jakarta Youth Choir

Kristianto added that it is very useful to improve new insight in leading the choir and orchestra.

"Of course a lot of knowledge gained here," he added.

Jakarta Youth and Sports Agency Head, Achmad Firdaus expressed that Jakarta Youth Choir will participate in the World Choir Games next year.

"Jakarta Youth Choir has represented Jakarta on various occasions and won various awards nationally and internationally," he told.

As for the information, Jakarta Youth Choir is one of the youth organizations that is fully supported by the Jakarta Youth and Sports Agency.
