748 Households Crossed Out from Row Village Program

As many as 748 households in East Jakarta are crossed out from row village program due to not meet requirements. After final verification, out of 1,300 households proposed, only 552 households whose houses worthy to be renovated in accordance to the rules by Jakarta Public Housing and Government’s Buildings Department.

Head of East Jakarta Administration City Facilities and Infrastructures Division, Tonny Sianipar, admitted that those 748 households are crossed out after the verification process.
“After we do final verification, we decided that 748 households are not worthy to be included in row village program. They are crossed out because the program must pay attention to road trace, river trace, and public green perfection (PHU),” he stated, Wednesday (9/3).
Row Village Program in South Jakarta Has Not StartedAccording to Sianipar, East Jakarta Administration had provided budget as much as Rp 70 billion to realize row village program in East Jakarta. But since only 40 percent of the program approved, the budget shrinks to Rp 27.8 billion. The amount of aid money given to each of those households is the same, Rp 54 million.
Initially, there were 12 RWs proposed to be included in the program. However, only nine RWs approved. Those RWs are spread in eight urban villages, namely Palmeriam (12 households approved from 41 households proposed), Pulogadung (64 households approved from 101 households proposed), Penggilingan (73 households approved from 140 households proposed), Cipinang Besar (73 households approved from 161 households proposed), Tengah (54 households approved from 88 households proposed), Rawamangun (15 households approved from 38 households proposed), Pisangan Timur (84 households approved from 203 households proposed), and Klender (132 households approved from 365 households proposed).
