Don't Miss Batik Exhibition at Textile Museum on September 31

We will also exhibit 80 pieces of batik from various regions

The Art Museum management unit is about to hold Batik Indonesia Exhibition at the Textile Museum, Jalan KS Tubun 2-4, Palmerah, West Jakarta from today to September 31.

This exhibition will be enlivened with fashion shows, dance, music, batik exhibitions, batik workshops and batik talk show along with an artist and batikblogger Sabine Bolk from Netherlands.

Batik Exhibition at Textile Museum Gets Positive Response

Art Museum Technical Unit Head Esti Utami said the exhibition has a variety of batik literature from various regions in Indonesia. There are also batik workshops, fashion shows, product bazaars and dance and music performances.

"We will also exhibit 80 pieces of batik from various regions," she expressed, Tuesday (9/24) evening.

Jakarta Tourism and Culture Agency Secretary Asiantoro added it is a form of appreciation for batik designated as cultural heritage since 10 years ago.

"I want people until the community to come and enjoy this exhibition," h e stated.
