Management unit of Textile Museum located on Jl. KS. Tubun, Kota Bambu Selatan Urban Village, Palmerah, West Jakarta, will hold patchwork art exhibition with theme 'Merah Putih' to celebrate the 72th of Indonesia Independence Day.
This exhibition will involve 80 participants, both as individual and group
Textile Museum's Information Education Work Unit Head, Misari said, exhibition will be held from August 12-26, 2017 at Textile Museum.
"This exhibition will involve 80 participants, both as individual and group. They will use Indonesia clothes, such as batik, woven fabric (tenun), and others," she said, Monday (7/17).
Textile Museum Keeps Ancient Betawi Batik CollectionShe hopes, this exhibition could inspire people to love local product more. Thus this event can improve people appreciation towards Indonesia textile.
"Monumental masterpieces from 72 crafters will be dedicated for Textile Museum," she closed.
