The Thousand Islands Tourism and Culture Sub-agency has noted that as many as 7,131 tourists have visited the islands on Saturday (9/28) and Sunday (9/29).
On Saturday, the number of visitors is reaching 5,709 people and 1,422 people are recorded on Sunday
Thousand Islands Tourism and Culture Sub-agency Head Cucu Ahmad Kurnia said most visited four residential islands, namely Tidung Island, Pari Island, Harapan Island and Pramuka Island.

"My hope is its number can increase continuously every weekday and weekend," he stated.
Tidung Island Urban Village Head Cecep Suryadi added tourist visits to Tidung Island have continued to increase since the construction of several supporting infrastructure and facilities such as culinary spots and selfie spots at tourist sites.
"To support it, we keep maintaining cleanliness," he stressed.
