Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan, acted as an inspector in the ceremony to commemorate the Pancasila Sanctity Day in the Silang Monas Field, Central Jakarta, on Tuesday (10/1).

If this precept's content is realized in real life, surely it will be able to ward off alternative ideologies

The ceremony themed "Pancasila as the Basis for Strengthening the Nation's Character Towards an Advanced and Happy Indonesia" was attended by the entire state civil apparatuses (ASN) under Jakarta Provincial Government.

On that occasion, Anies said all components of the nation, especially those in the capital city must always be vigilant of the efforts and threats that can damage the integrity of the nation and state.

It must be proven in everyday life by the real work of protecting Pancasila, especially in presenting the 5th precepts, namely Keadilan Sosial Bagi Seluruh Rakyat Indonesia (Social Justice for All Citizens).

"This moment reminds us that the threat of replacing the ideology of Pancasila with communism is real. Therefore, it also reminds us to always vigilant and pay attention to any signs of such replacement efforts. The most basic way to keep Pancasila is precisely to bring the precepts, like 5th precepts, Keadilan Sosial Bagi Seluruh Rakyat Indonesia," Anies expressed as quoted by Jakarta PPID's press release.

He hoped the government and citizens must be able to collaborate in continuing the tradition of struggle in the republic in protecting Pancasila.

"If this precept's content is realized in real life, surely it will be able to ward off alternative ideologies," he stressed.

As for the information, the ceremony head is entrusted to the Jakarta Cipta Karya, Spatial Planning and Land Agency Head Heru Hermawanto. There is a presentation of the Garuda Pancasila and Gugur Bunga songs from the Choir Team of the SMAN 13 Jakarta, with music accompaniment from the Music Crops of Jakarta Fire and Rescue Agency.

It is also attended by City Secretary Saefullah, TP PKK Chairwoman, Fery Farhati, Echelon-II officials, Jakarta Dharma Wanita Persatuan members, Nationa Army personnel and Police officers, as well as Indonesian Veterans Legion members.
